Catherine A. Terry, Principal

Cathy is a Certified Financial Planner Practitioner ™ (CFP®). She is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service and is an Accredited Tax Advisor who has been helping clients with a practical, hands-on approach since 1988.

She is a co-founder of First Choice Financial Services, Inc. She is a member of the Capital District Chapter of the Financial Planners Association, National Association of Enrolled Agents and National Society of Accountants.

Cathy has been a resident of upstate NY since 1973 and resides in Broadalbin with her husband, Phillip, and their ten children ranging in ages from 4 to 23. Although fully engaged in family, school and church activities while out of the office, Cathy always takes time to show a personal and sincere interest in her clients and their families.

David P. Olsen, Registered Principal of First Choice Financial Services, Inc

Dave is a Certified Financial Planner Practitioner ™ (CFP®) who has been helping individuals, families and businesses clearly define and achieve their financial dreams since 1987. He is the co-founder of First Choice Financial Services, Inc and a member of the local chapter of the Financial Planners Association. Dave has been a resident of the Capital District since graduating from Union College in Schenectady, NY in June of 1987. He and his wife, Jennifer, live in Clifton Park with their three children – Ryan, Sam and Sarah. In his time away from the office Dave enjoys running, basketball and reading. He and his family enjoy camping, swimming and traveling and actively support various charities including the American Heart Association.

Todd Mercer, CPA

Todd is a Certified Public Accountant with extensive experience in taxation and accounting. He has been with First Choice Financial Services, Inc. since October of 2001. Todd works exclusively on taxes and accounting issues; he is not affiliated or endorsed by LPL Financial. Prior to joining First Choice Todd was with a local CPA firm. He resides in Gloversville where he was born and raised. Todd graduated from Clarkson University in June of 1982. He enjoys spending time with family and friends.
